Terms and Conditions of Sale
Last updated: July 14, 2026
These terms apply to all orders placed by consumers on cleverbookshop.com.
1. Seller
PBM EDITIONS
EURL
1 Rue Jean Bologne, 75016 Paris, France

2. Products
We sell printed puzzle books from our own catalogue. Every copy is printed on demand for your order. Details such as page count, format and language are shown on each product page.
3. Ordering and conclusion of contract
Displaying products in the shop is not a binding offer. By completing checkout you make a binding offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation by email.
We store the text of the contract: your order data is kept in our shop system and is sent to you again in the order confirmation email, and the current version of these terms is available on this page at any time.
Before you place the order, you can detect and correct input errors at any time: in the cart you can change quantities or remove items, and the checkout shows all order details once more for review before you confirm the purchase.
The contract can be concluded in English, German, French, Dutch, Swedish, Spanish or Italian.
4. Prices and payment
All prices include applicable VAT. Shipping costs are shown on the Shipping & Returns page and at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken through our hosted Shopify checkout with the payment methods offered there.
5. Delivery
Because books are printed on demand, production takes 3 to 5 business days. The delivery times shown on our Shipping page already include this production time. Delivery details for your order are confirmed at checkout.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers in the EU and the United Kingdom have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Details and the model withdrawal form are on our Right of Withdrawal page.
7. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until paid in full.
8. Warranty
Statutory warranty law applies, including the legal guarantee of conformity for goods (two years from delivery in the EU). If your book arrives damaged or misprinted, email a photo of the fault to support@cleverbookshop.com.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Mandatory statutory liability (for example product liability) remains unaffected.
10. Governing law
French law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence remain unaffected, and you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
